I am so tired of this heat, I am so desperate for those chilly overcast days to come! At the store we began changing the stores to welcome the fall. Picture Overload Post:These are from my recent trip to San Francisco a few weeks ago, I went with my co workers and had a blast! The last time I was in San Francisco I believe I was 12 years old. It was interesting to be there as an adult.I only went for a couple days, I want to go for longer I want to explore EVERYTHING. The scenery was so beautiful, a little cold as well haha. Just a quick shoot of my Thanksgiving outfit for today, I bought the dress at a thrift store on my recent visit to San Francisco. It definitely was a great find, I spotted it by a dusty corner and what really made me get it was that it was my size and only 2 dollars!

How gorgeous are these ASOS shoes!? These four are my current favorite on their site. I really don't have many colorful shoes, but the pink ones are so cute and classy yet kinda sexy with the gold straps. I really have been obsessed with the platforms and suede this season, if only I didn't have bills to pay haha. I definitely recommend you guys to check out their site for holiday shopping, check out their apparel and accessories as well!
Also I would like to apologize for the really bad lack of posts, but for a little update I am currently finishing my 4th quarter at school. This quarter we made slacks and a long sleeve button up. I am also still working full time at American Apparel. I am definitely having a lot of fun and meeting new people and connections. I still haven't gotten a hold of a camera, so I haven't been able to upload outfit posts. I have a lot of pieces to show you. I hope everyone has a lovely Thanksgiving this week. Regardless of my stress and all, I am very thankful for what I have had this year and I know slowly and steadily I will get to where I want to and need to. Keep those chins up everyone!!

Today's outfit was a simple one, it wasn't to cold out so I decided not to wear tights today. One of the main reasons was because I ripped all my black tights (I seriously have a problem! ). Not even when I was in ballet, I ripped them so often . Speaking of ballet, I want to find a place already so I can start taking classes again. Dancing is a great escape and not to mention so beautiful!

The past few days we have been hunting for apartments. No luck yet unfortunately . Tomorrow we have a few appointments so hopefully it could be the day we find the perfect place!

I decided that this year I'm going to make a dress to wear for Christmas, I have two pretty fabrics a light sheer gray and a very light sheer pink. I think I might go with the gray and mix it with black or maybe another color like gold. I still don't really know. What are you guys planning to wear for this Christmas? What is your inspiration?

Here's a quick shoot I did today I'm wearing one of my favorite casual dresses. The jacket is perfect as well, I love how it resembles a cropped trench. It's lightweight and I love layering it with hoodies or cardigans. The dress is made of wool so its pretty warm for a day like today.
On Saturday me and Spencer finally picked our classes for January. I'm really glad I've taken care of most of the school planning. Now we are looking for apartments to live in, we have till the end of this year so we have a lot of work to do. Wish us luck guys! In the end it's going to pay off. I'm really excited to decorate our new place!!

Dress, Headband: Thrifted

I just got this dress a a couple weeks ago, got it for just a dollar. It's really comfy, it reminds me of an AA dress. The color is so pretty ♥ The headband I'm wearing is actually a handkerchief. It's my favorite one, I like to tie it around my purses or wear it as and ascot.
I've been enjoying these past few days with my love, this morning I made him pumpkin spice cinnamon pancakes with yummy lingonberry jam. So delicious! It's been pretty chilly out, so it's nice to have my babes to cuddle with. Are you guys ready for the holidays!? To tell you the truth, I am really not looking forward to them since I'm going to be poor! I am probably gonna do handmade gifts this year for my close ones. Oh well it's my favorite anyways hehe.

Halloween Post Part 1.

Hello lovelies, I hope you guys had a great Halloween weekend! I definitely had a great time. I decided to be an Native American, and made it last minute. I think it's one of my favorite costumes I made.

I had never made a poncho before so I was kinda nervous about it, but it actually came out all right. I draped it on myself and cut a point at the back and frayed it. I made a long collar in the front and attached a button to close when it got cold. I definitely kept me warm!

For the skirt, I took my boyfriends old Kr3w corduroy skate pants and turned them inside out. I cut the legs off and cut strips out of them. Then, I sewed 3 layers around the skirt and frayed them.

The breastplate took the longest to make, I spray painted straws with a bone colored white. I cut them into 2 different sizes and beaded it with hemp string. I made a simple flower design for the beads. When I was done with it, I glued the black feathers on each row.

For the headdress I took a piece of fabric from the pants and made a band. Then I made another band out of a paper grocery bag and put it on top of the fabric band. Folded it in half then glued the feathers inside. I sealed the band and attached a braided leather headband I made to it to tie around my head. I added some feather and beads and it was done!
